I could not find instruction in the tutorial about how to configure SNNAP to write to a text file. Could you please post such instructions. Everytime I have played around with sNNap to do this it ends in a muddle.
Thanks

When you run the simulation, you can select how often data points are saved. The default is every 10th point. For example, if you simulation time step is 0.0001 sec, then you'll be saving data points every 1 msec. You can increase or decrease the value for the "Data Output Filet" to match your needs.

In order to write to a text file you need to : 1. in the SNNAP main menu select "Edit Simulation" to open the *.smu file. 2. in the *.smu file select the Store_results dialog box, to mark it with a check. 3. save your changes. 4. in the SNNAP main menu select "Edit OutScreen" to open the *.ous file. 5. in the *.ous file select Edit>Add>Add Var to File 6. in the window "Add Variables to File" select the vairables you want and move them to the right column, Variables to file. (Do not forget to include time). 6. click OK, save and rerun your simulation. 7. a file titled *.smu.out should be created in the directory with the smu file.
