I think one of the biggest obstacles for a new user is to get SNNAP running for the first time. I am a long time SNNAP user who is trying to get it running on a new machine. However, I can't get my simulations running on my work computer.
I get a Java.lang.NumberFormatException on one machine, but not on another when trying to run the same simulation. Both machines are running WindowsXP. It seems like it has a problem reading the .ous file, since the variable names in the error message are 'gain', 'nvar', 'vartype', 'min' and 'max'. I get this for all of the simulations I've tried to run including the examples posted on the website.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I'm running it from my 'Snnap8' directory. The examples I've tried to run are in a sub-folder in the same directory.

Is your path "C:\Snnap8" ?
What machine are you using at work?
Which Java version are you using at work?

I put all of my snnap files in a directory called "UT docs". It didn't like the space between "UT" and "docs".
